When asked about being the Executive Director of Seabrook Pointe, Jordan said “I love learning about our residents. It brings me so much joy to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee with them. It feels like I have several sets of grandparents I get to see every day.”

Selena Jackson

Selena is from Russellville, Alabama and first joined the Cottages in 1998 as the Resident Services Director for our Country Cottage in Russellville. Since that time she has been a member of the Cottage team in various positions, including Managing Director for several of our locations. Selena has been a nurse for 25 years, and has enjoyed 22 years caring for the elderly.

“The reason I love caring for the elderly is because of my many wonderful grandparents who played such an important role in my life,” says Selena.

The Commons

The Commons is proud to be Huntsville’s first 55+ Active Adult Community, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional apartment living or retirement in the area.

So, what does that mean for you? A 55+ Active Adult Community is designed for individuals 55 and older, where neighbors share similar lifestyles, interest, and life experiences, creating a natural sense of connection and community.

Unlike many communities that require homeownership, association fees, or large upfront costs, The Commons keeps things simple. There are no buy ins or HOA fees. Just one straightforward monthly rent and the option to add services that fit your lifestyle. It’s modern, maintenance free way to enjoy independence, comfort, and community, your way!
